Dear St. Aidan’s,

This Sunday is Commitment Sunday. This will be a chance to thank those who have recently completed terms of leadership and service in our parish, and to bless everyone’s commitments of time, talent, and treasure for the year ahead. Please join us as we celebrate the gifts so many have generously given, and bless the new commitments we are making for our new year of life together as a church community.

The last week of this month is Holy Week. We want to make our celebration of Jesus’ resurrection especially festive with special music and flowers for one of the most joyous days of the Christian year. Please consider making a special donation (or a few) to honour or remember special people from your life or your years here at St. Aidan’s. The deadline for Easter worship donations and dedications is March 24. Names of those being honoured and remembered will be included in the Easter Sunday order of service. Easter worship donation cards can be picked up at church this Sunday, or you can give online through the link found further down in this weekly announcement email.

If you or your child have not yet been baptized and would like to be, we will offer the sacrament of Holy Baptism at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, March 30. The Easter Vigil is one of the most ancient liturgies in our Christian tradition, and baptism is a key part of the service. To learn more about baptism, please contact Rev. Becky at priest@staidansinthebeach.com

I hope to see you in church soon,

Becky+
