Dear St. Aidan’s,

Lent is a 40-day season in our church year when we prepare our hearts for Holy Week. While many ‘give up’ something as a Lent discipline, I hope you’ll consider ‘taking up’ a spiritual practice as a way of observing a Holy Lent.

In this week’s Sunday worship bulletin, you’ll find a listing of several special Lenten prayer and study groups as well as Lenten worship services, meant to give us more opportunities to gather, pray, and reflect during this holy season. You’ll also receive a special email this week with the details of these Lenten groups and worship opportunities.

I hope you’ll consider beginning your own observation of Lent by joining us for one of our Ash Wednesday services. We’ll have a spoken service at 12 noon and a service with music at 7 p.m.

I hope to see you in church soon,

Becky+
