Lent group: Holy Listening, Monday eveningsWhere is God in the crises of our day? During Lent we are gathering weekly to listen for God’s voice in the tumult. Led by our clergy and our own congregation, the five-part series begins Monday March 7 at 7.30 pm on Zoom.. It will continue on the following four Mondays, March 14, 21, 28 and April 4, at the same time.This week: Listening to voices emerging from the pandemicWhat have we learned in the COVID-19 crisis? - about public health; about ourselves; about the vulnerable? Join parishioners from the healthcare field and others, as we listen to each other and to God. Meditation Resumes Wednesday Evenings in ChurchThrough Lent the theme of the Wednesday evening meditations will be Holy Listening: Contemplative Prayer. We meet in the church and on Zoom from 7:30 to 8:15pm. Episcopal Visit Sunday March 27 at 10:30amBishop Kevin Robertson will be visiting us on March 27 to celebrate with us the completed renovation of the church interior, and rededicate it. He will also talk with us about the search process following Lucy's retirement. 8. Volunteers Needed for Church Open House, Saturday March 26  On Saturday March 26 from 11 am to 3pm, we will be opening our doors for community tours of our renovated building.  We need volunteers from the parish to welcome and help direct people through the building.  If you can spare an hour during that time, please contact Courtney Ebner at courtneyebner@yahoo.com with your availability.  9. Altar Guild Flowers and Aumbry CandleOnce we are back in the church we are going to resume our donation programme for altar flowers and aumbry candles. If you would like to dedicate the flowers or candle for a particular Sunday the cost for flowers is $80 for one Sunday and the aumbry candle is $40 for a full month.   • Mail cheques to the church: 2423 Queen St. E., Toronto, ON M4E 1H6, or drop off your donation in our secure mailbox on the front of the building near the stairs at the north-east corner of the building
  • If you would like to consider moving to pre-authorized debits from your bank account to make it easier for you to fulfill your ongoing support for the ministries at St. Aidan’s, please go to the Giving page of the website and print off the PAG Authorization Form to sign up: https://www.staidansinthebeach.com/giving

Tax Receipts for 2021Receipts for your 2021 direct donations to St. Aidan’s have been sent out.  Where possible, the receipt was sent electronically to the email address we have on file for you.  Please check your junk/spam email if you have not received it. If we do not have email on file for you, a receipt was printed and mailed to you on Tues. Feb 22.  If you have any questions, feel free to send a message to donations@staidansinthebeach.com .  Thank you for your support of our parish.** If you made any donations to St. Aidan’s through Canada Helps they are receipted separately by Canada Helps - log in to your account on their website to pull up your receipt.  If you need help, feel free to email the address above. 12. Offering Envelope Sets for 2022We have some sets available for those who prefer to use weekly envelopes. Send an email to  donations@staidansinthebeach.com to request and they will be ready for you to pick up when we return to church in March. If you only give monthly or intermittently, please feel free to just use the pew envelopes when you are making a donation.
