2. Sunday Evening Outdoor Services
On Sunday evenings we are holding an outdoor eucharist with Bible study at 7 pm. We meet at the back of the Claremont School property, behind the hall. Go down the driveway to the S end of the school building on Silver Birch Ave, pass through the wooden gate at the end, and turn right to enter the zone between the hall and the Willow lands. Seating is under a canopy, and all COVID-19 safety protocols are followed.

3. Children's Program in the Summer

Watch this week's Kid Vid at https://youtu.be/tSZ0ARQOYrA. The video will go live at 9:00 am. Don't forget about our outdoor family gathering on Sunday, August 14th at 1:00pm at the Williamson Road school yard. Hope to see you for some outdoor fun then!

4. Service Videos on Website and YouTube
We are recording our Sunday morning service each week, for those unable to attend it live. Look for it on the church website here: https://www.staidansinthebeach.com/services/pages/virtual-services, or on YouTube by searching St Aidan's in the Beach Sunday Service.

5.  Kneeler Cushion Survey
As we prepare for reopening we would like to get an idea of how many people will use kneeler cushions during services. The new pews will not have kneelers attached, instead cushions will be stored at the back of the church and will be picked up by parishioners on entry. Please reply to this email if you WOULD USE these cushions and specify if you usually attend the 8:30 or 10:30 service.

6. Learning Resources

8. Event Series Explores Reconciliation
The deacons of the Parkdale-West Toronto Deanery and York-Credit Valley present the second season of “A Reconciliation Walk,” a series of conversations that aims to be open to the voices of Indigenous people through stories, movies and discussions and guide participants in genuine reconciliation. This year’s theme is “Every Child Matters.” The first event will take place on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. with a discussion of the film We Were Children. Registration will open in late August. The other dates in the series are Oct. 14, Nov. 4, Jan. 13 and Feb. 10.
